Both Governor Sarah Palin and Senator Barack Hussein Obama are in their forties. Governor Palin ran a billion dollar state government and Senator Obama has hired clerical staff for his senatorial offices. Governor Palin was mayor of a small town in Alaska and Senator Obama helped admitted terrorist Bill Ayers distribute the $60 million Annenberg grant. Still, which one has the most executive experience to serve as President?

Obama has a Harvard Law degree, was a civil rights lawyer for 7 years, served as a State Senator for 8 years, served as US Senator for 4…in addition to being a volunteer community organizer. He’s served on every relevant committee in the Senate…Homeland security, Education, Economy, Healthcare..etc.
Palin…as you said…mayor of small town, gov of Alaska for less than a term. She has a BA degree in journalism…

If you think less than two years as governor of a state with an infrastructure, economy and population smaller than a medium-sized city counts as executive experience, that’s fine.
But then…she opened her mouth…and all of that just flew away. People stopped touting exec experience then, didn’t they? Why? Because despite your shoddy comparisons, Palin is a total idiot.
Palin is under investigation for Abuse of Power and Ethics violations. Obama isn’t. Next question.
1.) She ran the billion dollar state’s economy into the ground. They are in millions of debt because of her.
2.)She fired one of her advisors for not letting go of someone she saw as unfavorable to her.
3.)There’s only so much experience you can get from the Senate and I believe Obama is just as ready as McCain in this respect. I doubt McCain, who displays early signs of dementia, can even recall most of his senatorial career.
4.) He helped Bill Ayers distribute educational grants. How that has anything to do with the radical/terrorist ideals Ayers believes in really is not clear at all, so I don’t see why you bring it up.
5.) The small town she was mayor of is just that, a small town. Obama was senator to a larger consituency in just his district.
Obama. He lives and works and leads in a state where people actually outnumber reindeer (unlike alaska).
And by your own standards Sarah Louise Heath Palin must then be more qualified then McCain as he has no executive experience either.

After Palin left as mayor of her tiny Alaska hamlet, she left the town drowning in debt. She’s been in the governor’s office less than two years and she’s already involved in a corruption and abuse-of-power scandal. She’s been stocking the entire state apparatus with unqualified buddies from high school.
I note that you say nothing about what the Annenberg Challenge actually tried to do in Chicago. I assume it’s because you either don’t know or don’t care. You also don’t mention that Ayers was acquitted and hasn’t been involved in radical activity since the 1970s, and though he did help bomb buildings, no one was killed as a result of what he did. In fact, aerial bombing of Vietnam had to stop because of the Pentagon office bombing - he saved lives.
But none of this has anything to do with Obama, because Obama IS NOT AYERS. Obama was a child when Ayers committed his crimes, and by the time Obama got onto the Chicago political scene Ayers was a respected authority on education.
Your arguments are sloppy. Your attempt to conflate a hayseed like Palin with a well-educated man like Obama is a mess.

I don’t think Palin is qualifed to serve as President at this point in time, Obama certainly has the experience and maturity to do so, regardless of age. If Palin becomes our VP, perhaps she’ll gain enough experience before she’s put into the position of either being our president or running for the office to better serve this country. First, she needs to quit trying to act so “cool”, using her little catch-phrases like my teenage daughter does.
The real answer here is that Joe Biden has the qualifications to serve as President, as does McCain. Given the choice, I would vote for Biden over McCain. Given the choice, I would vote for McCain over Palin, and given the choice I would vote for Obama over Palin.
With my real choice, I remain undecided.

Sarah Palin was never around the government, most legislatures complained that they could never contact her. The state congressman took to wearing “Where’s Sarah” buttons.
So while Sarah was in charge, she quickly delegated out the responsibilities to others. So her experience at running things is minimal at best. i mean honestly, having to hire an administrative team to run a town of 6000, our school district is bigger than that!
Sarah Palin’s husband was part of the Alaskan Independance party, whose found stated that “The fires of hell are glaciers compared to my hatred for the goverment of the United States of America” i invite you to view the video link below. There the current head of the Alaskan independance party states that Sarah Palin was their candidate, and that they had to hide their candidate in the Republican party to get elected. There is also Sarah’s recorded welcome to the party’s convention this year. You worry about Obama associating with a man who did stuff 30 years ago. But your vice presidential candidate is endorsed and supports a group that wants her state to leave the United States?? Pot meet kettle.

Palin admitted that she doesn’t read which means that it’s near impossible for her to be an expert about anything. she doesn’t know law, economics or history (foreign or domestic). so what exactly does she know?
Obviously it doesn’t take that much to become a Governor if Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jessie Ventura can do it and neither of them held any political office prior.
