Why do celebrities dislike Sarah Palin? Is it because an ordinary person can succeed in pulling the spotlight away from them? Is it because people are actually paying attention to someone who’s not one of the rich and famous on “Entertainment Tonight”. Is it jealousy?
It is because she is a conservative Republican, and most celebrities are liberal Democrats.
Most celebs in Hollywood are liberals and won’t budge. Matt Damon doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Plus, Disney doesn’t make bad movies.

First of all, not all celebrities oppose her. Most, but not all.
The reason most celebrities oppose Palin is that she represents values that they either don’t share, or view as contradictory to the kind of America they want to live in.
The typical celebrity mindset does not represent the values of the majority of Americans, as Hollywood is at the far left end of the mainstream political spectrum.
Celebrities have the same right as anyone else to speak their minds about political candidates. But just like with any other opinion you may encounter, you have to consider the source.
It makes me nauseated when I see these celebrities slamming her. All it does is make me, as a woman, take notice of her and feel a feminine sense of protection. Regardless if a celebrity likes a candidate or not they shouldn’t verbalize their opinion. First of all, we pay them a lot of money to entertain us not to teach us. If that were the case they’d be professors making way less than what they get paid now. Second, who do they think they are? Most celebrities have gotten where they are now by doing less than respectable things. They’re out of control! Most celebrity females have degraded women by showing their **** and@ more than their brains. Talk about “not being a feminist” Pink. How dare these money ****** think their opinion matters to intelligent people. And last, Who’s paying them for their opinion. Why do they all **** the Republicans? Maybe they get a kick back from the candidate they publicly support. I mean, they sell their photos to the highest bidder, they sell their movies, they sell their *** tapes, they sell themselves…how do we know that some candidate hasn’t paid them to voice their opinion. I vote democrat but I may vote McCain/Palin because of all the crap that I’ve seen the media do to her. It is shocking! I’m a professional woman with children and I’d be furious for someone to think I have less intelligence because I have kids and I can’t balance work with home life. I’m also a very intelligent woman and I don’t care if Pamela Anderson (who’s IQ is probably 10), Lindsey Lohan (Who sees an attractive woman that has a brain and hasn’t had to sleep, drink, and experiment her way to the top. Get yourself cleaned up before critiquing someone “normal”. Lindsey.) Matt Damon (I love all the Jason Bourne movies, but, shut the hell up! Your only an actor! Nobody with a brain cares about what you think.) John Cusak, Molly Shannon, P Diddy, and, all other celebrities that want to voice their political opinion (Intelligent people can’t take you seriously and you come off as being bought because every one knows you’re overpaid money ****** with inflated egos) Bottom line, do your jobs and be classy enough not to let us know your political opinion!! That goes for the news commentators too. I don’t respond well to people telling me what a candidate was meaning to say when I heard what they said! This has been a grossly contaminated Presidential Election. We should send a message to these silly celebrities and put them in their place. These people are worshiped one day and publicly barbecued the next. The public loves a destroyed celebrity. It’s like a feeding frenzy when they fall. Celebrities have put themselves in this position so they need to learn their place. They’re entertainers only! My daughter told me when she was little that she wanted to be an actress when she grew up. I told her that she had too much class for that and that most actresses were the dregs of society. I told her it wasn’t about money it’s about self-respect! I admire an intelligent, beautiful woman who can marry a man and still love him after 5 kids! That’s me (I have two kids) and it looks like that’s Palin. She might not be for abortion but she’s a smart woman. You can still get an abortion regardless if the Republicans are in office. Half of society isn’t for *** rights. Who cares? If you love someone be with them. It doesn’t matter if the President agrees with your life style. What matters is that it’s right for you. Get over the drama and get on with the campaign.
