Firstly, show me one shred of evidence saying that he has criticized the Bible. I highly doubt that anything you will find is legitimately criticism, given that Obama is a christian. That shouldn’t really matter in politics (intelligence and character count, not faith in a random invisible man). Also, at the moment he is between 5 and 7 percent ahead of Mccain, and the electoral college map looks like it will be a landslide.
As a women’s ministry leader…yes. As Vice President (with even a REMOTE possibility of serving as president) of the United States of America…no. Being a “good Christian” is not the only qualification one needs to lead a nation. I’m sorry folks. As a matter of fact, it probably doesn’t even make the LIST of qualifications, being that religion and state are to be separate. “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” They are not meant to function as one and the same.

Because Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from our sins. He was a human sacrafice and those that believe in him will be saved according to his word. He and he alone can only save you. If you accept him he will save you from eternal damnation. Neither Buddah nor the hindu religon make this claim, only christianity. I hope this helps.

@kmcl11 I don’t think anyone wan’ts to take away another american’s right to talk about god.But don’t forget,there are also americans who don’t believe in god,and they also have the privilige and the right as americans to voice their opinion about there belief or non-belief in god.If you want to live in a theocracy,I suggest that you join the taliban.
@kmcll.What about all the innocent children in Iraq killed by W a “christian republican” I didn’t realize that creation was taught in public schools? Isn’t that a christian belief? I might be wrong ,but doesn’t that fall under the seperation of church and state? Why people can’t be saved into Buddhism or Hinduism?
There are believers and non-believers, and I will not argue with either of you. But Religion and State have to be separated, or else people like Sarah Palin will be impulsed to do stupid things because of something that isn’t concrete. God exists in our hearts and in our minds, but he can’t materialize a pipeline out of thin air. Praying for things like that is not what people should do.
