I’m sure that is why Obama hates our right to have them.

  2. guns may not solve all issues, but they will protect us from OUR government, study your American History.
Hello compare our freedoms to the countries with no right to bear arms.
I have friends from China, his mother is beaten publicly and periodically by the army because she had more than 1 child!!!!!

  3. just uploaded very **** vid of me dancing!

I guess I just don’t understand why the English people are the ones who have to stop and think first regarding all the ways they may be accountable for the violence if they are the ones being victimized.

  5. In the USA you’re in your legal right to use lethal force if you are in your own home and you feel your life is threatened. I’m not saying I would shoot if someone for carrying a TV out of my garage, though some might, but what are you supposed to do if a violent person is in your living space and they go for their belt (possibly going for a weapon) or come toward you in a menacing way? Must you stop and ask politely for an explanation before you act?

  6. I think what StinkFinger is trying to say is if someone breaks into his house there getting fucked up

  7. Ok but not all invaders are burglars or robbers who want a quick getaway. Some are violent people so I’m just trying to understand what you’re expected to do when you’re threatened in your own home or personal space.

  8. A desire to cause suffering is innate in some people. Fail to recognise this at your own peril. Some criminality is caused by a hunger, like **** & child molestation, & cannot be corrected. Prison reform is undoubtedly in order, but you need to understand that many criminals are dyed in the wool predators, not misguided kids needing re-parenting.

  9. By evil do you mean the lack of compassion or desire to cause suffering? Yes I believe both exist but yes I believe both can be solved with the right counselling while they are in prison or otherwise also. Different approaches are required for each. It won’t always be easy and it depends on how thoroughly correctly the job is done. I also support CCTV and widespread police presence to protect people.

  10. TheNav, All well & good in theory. What you fail to comprehend, is that much of the crime, is caused by simple evil. No education, will fix that.Ever!

  11. The difference is that they run away upon first sighting.

  12. Stats don’t tell you why things happen, for example in the UK the gap between rich and poor is wider than ever, and divisions and hatreds in society have been allowed to fester. Guns won’t solve that but exacerbate it. I support getting knives and deadly weapons off the street; a lot easier than guns. I want prisoner reform councillors talking to prisoners every day about their crimes. I want primary and secondary school classes devoted to promoting a sense of oneness and compassion in society.

Well thank God you weren’t attacked or anything. I have to say, nav, you’re certainly a lot more understanding than I would be. I think there are people that do stupid things and don’t deserve to die but how in the world do you know the difference when you run into them in your own home? You were really lucky, seriously.

  14. TheNav, Last I checked, since the UK gun ban, gun crime has gone down, but crime against persons, & property has risen. Burglery, robberymuggings, home & business etc. Britons are becoming less secure. No thanks!

  15. I want to be clear: good communications must be pursued in all cases, even if strength is used. They are not, never have been, and never will be mutually exclusive actions.

  16. I have already said that proportionate, equal, and targeted strength is justifiable. The ultimate solution, however, is good communications.

  17. TheNav, Well, you believe wrongly. Evil, must be met with strength.

  18. Crime is caused by ignorance, and we need to eliminate that if we want to eliminate crime. This is possible, through the schools, and employing people to talk daily to the convicted prisoners about their crimes and about the right way to live with others. I don’t believe in the “kill/disfigure a few” approach. Proportionate punishments only are justifiable if necessary. I believe in a thing called universal human rights. And attitude-changing communications, which would lead to perfect results.

  19. TheNav, WRONG! They are invaders to your most sacred space. People like that, must be made fearful of violating others! Keep doing that permissive thing, & crime will skyrockt. Kill a few, & you will save more lives in the long run. Yours, is a dangerous & false compassion!

  20. StinkFingerr, I had someone break in to my house when I was younger, while I and my parents were asleep. They picked up a few of my things but as they were leaving when they saw the automatic outside light go on they panicked and dropped everything and ran. They clearly didn’t want to hurt anybody and were most probably poorer frustrated kids. Now look they didn’t deserve to be killed or disfigured for life. They have families too and a repremand and proportionate punishment is appropriate.

  21. Nav, If someone breaks into your home, you don’t have an obligation to determine how they are armed! Quit sticking up for the criminal!

  22. Yeah that’s why I said you cannot easily carry out a “disarmament project” over there, because the can of worms is open, even though I much prefer our system in the UK. That’s why I said the best you can do at this moment in the US is not allowing shooting of an unarmed person, and not allow pointing a gun at an unarmed person (producing an unjust level of threat). Strict and proportionate penalties should ensue for both actions.

  23. Global poverty and WW3 hangs on this election. That’s MY problem. Yeah I understand and your are not typing too fast, it is YOUR choice. The whole world is frickin nervous about this election.

  24. What is your problem? YOU ARE NOT AN AMERICAN. Do you understand YOU CAN NOT VOTE HERE??? Tell me if I am typing to fast for you.

Go find a Tony Blair vid to comment on…

No, nothing wrong with enforcing your laws, it’s the laws themselves I was wondering about. Of course if it’s helping then I guess that’s good but I wonder WHO its helping because here it only helps the criminals. Also, to compound the problem here law enforcers are made out to be the bad guys when they do their job. People seem more respectful of the police there.
