When I first heard her speak in her acceptance speech, I decided to switch parties. And I’ve been a republican all my life.
Republicans really do have a history of odd choices for vice presidents, but this was over the top and inexcusible. It has destroyed my respect for McCain.

No scarier than Obama’s lack of experience and unrealistic ideaologies. This is basically a lose - lose situation. Just pick the lesser of the two evils (in your mind) and go vote. Absolutely not, I think America lacks a lot of values and morals and maybe she would bring some of that back. The only thing that scares me is maybe her lack of experience, but I think she is smarter than Obama (my opinion). We are a FREE country, but I think that freedom needs to come with limits. I think Mrs. Palin would do fine if she had to president. We need someone who has beleifs and is willing to stand for them
obama has no proven record or previous experience… at least with the republicans, i can say “ok i agreed with him here here and here, but not here or here…” he’s a good speaker, but i don’t think it’s worth the risk

Has anyone mentioned that Palin, aka Caribou killer went back to work just 3 days after delivering ‘her’ baby while at the same time her now pregnant daughter was out of school for 5 months with ‘mono’? Sounds very fishy.

Given the fact that McCain is 72, overweight, has fought four bouts of cancer…It scares the hell out of me that if he were voted in, Sarah Palin is like, ONE loaded cheeseburger from becoming commander in chief.
Not only is she anti-choice, but she’s also anti birth control (she refers to them as abortificants) and in my mind, anti-woman. So all the anti-choice women out there that think she’s wonder woman, you may want to consider if you’d like to hand ALL reproductive and family planning decisions over to the united states government.
Combine that with the fact she belongs to the Assembly of God CULT (yeah…I said it) that believe in thought control (check out their main website…it’s the truth) and speaking in tongues you have the perfect recipe for a Christian American Taliban. What’s scary is that there are plenty of decent, devout people who think she’s a lovely woman of faith but those who think God belongs in government had better consider hard and long exactly WHOSE God they want there, because the pentecostal assembly’s version bears no resemblance to the one in the bible.

Scary that we as adults think that a president should make our decisions when it comes to religion and our bodies. Whether you are pro life or pro choice, as long as abortion is legal you can choose NOT to have an abortion!
