According to Evangelical leaders, Sarah Palin wouldn’t be allowed to teach or speak in one of their churches?

sarah palin
Sarah P asked:

according to I Timothy 2:12. According to them, Paul also forbid them to have authority over a man. So, if Governor Palin debates Joseph Biden on TV, would they have to turn off their TVs? Would they also not be able to vote for her because they can’t allow a woman to be in authority over them?

I’m half-joking but I’m half-serious.

By the way, I am a born-again Bible-believing Christian. I just disagree with the Evangelical interpretation of I Timothy 2:12.
